The ‘ASAN service’ practice will be implemented in Romania

The delegation headed by Ulvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the State Agency for Citizens' Services and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, made a working visit to Bucharest at the invitation of Mircea Abrudean, Secretary General of the Romanian Government.

On the first day of the visit, Chairman of the State Agency and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Romania Gudsi Osmanov visited the monument to the National Leader of the Azerbaijani People Heydar Aliyev located in Tei Park in Bucharest.

Within the framework of the visit, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed ‘between the State Agency for Citizens’ Services and Social Innovation under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the General Secretariat of the Government of Romania on co-operation in the field of public services’.

The Memorandum of Understanding stipulates the implementation of the ‘’ASAN Service‘’ practice in Romania, as well as the organisation of practical training in the centres of ‘’ASAN Service‘’, and also the exchange of best experiences in the field of public services between the experts of the State Agency and the Romanian side.

During the signing ceremony, held at the Victoria Palace in Bucharest, the Secretary General of the Romanian Government Mircea Abrudean stated that they will benefit from this experience for the development of the relevant field in his country, noting the exceptional importance of the globally recognised and acknowledged ASAN Service Experience in the provision of public services. Afterwards, representatives of the General Secretariat of the Romanian Government made a broad presentation of the innovative projects being realised in Romania.

The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Romania Gudsi Osmanov also took part in the events and meetings held during the visit.
